I am Shakil. I am mostly active on Bangla Wikipedia, Wikibooks and Meta. You can also find me on SWMT.
I currently serve as a Wikimedia Steward. On Bangla Wikipedia, I am an Administrator and Oversighter, and I also hold administrator rights on Bangla Wikibooks. Before being elected as a Steward, I served as a member of the Ombuds Commission and as a Global Sysop.
In addition to my on-wiki work, I actively participate in off-wiki activities and community initiatives. I currently serve as Deputy Coordinator of the Dhaka Wikimedia Community, where I support outreach, events, and community development. I was also elected as a Wikimedia Bangladesh Executive Committee member for a two-year term beginning in 2026, and I am serving in that role for the full term.
